Reflection

Dear all

I was a bit to quick in saying that I am able to meet on Thursday… I promised to work…. That’s what you get when you aren’t used to having a job anymore.
I will send my input on Wednesday after the resit of SRM.


This is an email that I received this morning, percisely the same moment when I felt boring with study environment in Dutch. One year I am studying in this country, I started to complain with how the education system in Ducth is set up.

Actually I am joining in the international class, however majority my fellows are Dutch, only two persons as foreigner, they came from Cyprus and Portugise. Not only the lack of Ducth languange that made me study like in the hell, but also the time limitation for student to discuss after the class because majority Ducth students work to earn money.

Nothing wrong if student work while they study. But the problems arise when they have to choose to join in the group discussion or to work. The email like I mentioned above became an evidence how the Dutch student face with difficult choice. Since they also trapped on the debt. According my conversation with my Ducth friends, she has to work because she has a loan from the bank.

In my opinion, the status as student becomes important for Ducth youngsters because in deed, they still earn money from goverment and to gain loan insurance from the bank. Hence, no doubt if we say study in Asia is better choice...
